I have been heavy for most of my life.  When my younger brother died unexpectedly it really caught me off guard.  After that and knowing how difficult it is for your kids and family after losing a loved one, I really started focusing on improving my health more than ever.  Part of that focus included the desire to lose weight.  I have tried pretty much every diet out there. When I was a teenager, I did not eat well at all.  My focus was on losing weight at any cost.  My answer was to drink Tab.  For those of you old enough to remember Tab, it was a diet drink similar to Diet Coke or Diet Pepsi today.  Unfortunately that is all I would eat.  I lost weight but at a much greater cost.  I started breaking bones.  You can’t eat like crap and expect for your body to treat you right.

Finally there was a point that I just gave up.  I had tried Weight Watchers, the Atkins diet, the grapefruit diet all while my husband was on the see food diet.  You know the one where you eat everything you see.  That was a huge problem for me.  My husband had no problem whatsoever with his weight and he ate everything under the sun.  I always wondered why some people were blessed with a fast metabolism and some were not.  I guess part is genetics but the rest is up to us.

For the last five years, I have really focused on improving my health.  Losing weight is part of that but making sure I am feeding my body the nutrients it needs has been the most important for me.  I noticed when I started the Beyond dark chocolate meal replacement shake that I had more energy.  Considering I have fibromyalgia and chronic fatigue, this is huge!  I told my rheumatologist what I was doing and he was surprised I was seeing a benefit but did not see anything bad in it and told me to keep taking it.  That was years ago.  I literally never skip this shake.

chocolateloseweightbrandedI have lost weight on this shake which is amazing to me.  I wake up in the morning craving this shake.  There are so many yummy recipes to pick from.  I love to make my shake with frozen banana.  I have customers and friends who love to make theirs with almond milk.  Some people even use vanilla and cold coffee.  Once you find the recipe you like, it is so easy to make.  I peel my bananas and then slice them in two or three pieces depending on the size of the banana.  I then take the pieces and put them in a gallon size freezer bag and stick them in the freezer.  When it is time to make my shake, I just throw in a couple pieces of banana, a cup of ice, a cup of water, 2 scoops of the Beyond protein shake mix and a little dab of peanut butter.  For me, this makes 2 large glasses of my shake.  It is so filling for me that I don’t even have a desire to eat for four hours.

When I am in Fearless28 diet mode, I replace two of my meals each day with the Beyond Fearless28 diet shake. (Chocolate diet mode is when I decide I need to lose weight NOW)  I then have a normal dinner, usually boneless chicken breast, baked potato and a favorite vegetable.  I also have snacks as needed.  My favorite snacks are a 100 calorie serving of Skinny Pop Popcorn or an Xe healthy energy drink or Beyond healthy chocolate nuggets or the Xobiotic square.

Years ago I starved myself.  I learned that was a big mistake.  I am 50 now and would like to think I am a little smarter with my health.  I never starve myself.  In fact, if I am hungry, I eat.  The cool thing is that our healthy chocolates are high in flavanoids and antioxidants.  So it really is a healthy snack.  Our smallest chocolate, the Beyond power square is just 33 calories!  If you have three of them a day, you are looking at 100 calories.  One of my diet tips on the Chocolate Diet is to eat a piece of Beyond healthy chocolate 20-30 minutes before every meal unless I am doing the shake.  This curbs my appetite and I eat less without even noticing!  This is also great when you are going out with all your skinny friends or if you are going to a party or an event.  I always have Beyond chocolates in my purse!

The Beyond weight loss plan is also called the Chicago Chocolate Diet.  It was featured on the cover of the Bariatrician which is a Bariatric Medicine Journal for doctors.  In the American Journal of Bariatric Medicine is also included the study of 50 individuals who followed this Fearless28 diet plan for 12 weeks.  The average participant lost over 31 pounds in just 12 weeks eating chocolate!  Can life get any better than this?

Regardless if you want to lose 31 pounds in 12 weeks or want to slowly improve your health and lose the weight once and for all, Beyond chocolates and the Beyond protein shake are what you want.  I recommend either the Wealth pack which includes 13 of our products including the energy drink, the shake, four kinds of our chocolates and even the anti-aging skin care and shampoo and conditioner or the Ripped and Rich pack.  The ripped and rich pack includes the Beyond protein shake, Xe energy drinks for after work outs and Beyond healthy chocolate nuggets, our most popular chocolates.

No matter how you decide to order, anyone who orders monthly is eligible for a FREE product every third month for the first year.  This is a great way to get extra products for the rest of your family or to try out proteinshake1the products you want to try.  Either way today is the day you can start caring about your health.  Take it to the next level.  Once you start eating healthy chocolate, pay attention to how you feel.
