If you are looking to plan a trip to the Orlando, Florida area to visit Walt Disney World, Universal Studios or SeaWorld, including a lazy river will provide lots of amazing memories. The bottom line is this, the parks are great but it is hot and people get tired. What is better than relaxing and floating away all the cares of the day on a lazy river with the family.

Best Lazy River Resorts In Orlando

Our family frequents the Orlando, Kissimmee, Davenport area often. We have been to many, many high end resorts in the Orlando resort areas. Our top two favorite resorts with lazy rivers are both owned by Wyndham. (No, I don’t work for them) The best lazy river of the two is at Reunion. Reunion is a unique property as you can find million + homes or high end 3 bedroom, 3 bath condos to rent. The lazy river has a few awesome waterfalls and a cool slide if you are courageous. They also have a kiddie water park which is fun too. The next best is the Bonnet Creek group of resorts. The Bonnet Creek lazy river is a smaller version than Reunion and a little faster. Both are going to be a lot of fun though.

Amenities and Water Fun

There is more to picking a resort than a water park but the amenities and the hotels or condo accommodations are wonderful. These are my two favorite resorts, with or without the lazy river. Both resorts offer condo rentals with a full kitchen, living area, dining area and up to 3 bedrooms. The Reunion condo we recently stayed in was 3 bedrooms, 3 baths and a patio off the golf course. Just beautiful for a family vacation. We always take time to fit in the lazy river and it never seems too busy. End your day on a high note. Favorite lazy river family resorts are the way to go!

How Do I Find My Orlando Travel Deals?
