It is hard to believe that Christmas is nearly here. It is already December 21st and in a few short days it will be Christmas Eve. Pretty quickly we will be looking 2018 straight in the eyes. We likely will overindulge this Christmas and New Years Eve. Even if we try to be careful it is just so difficult. New Years Day will follow and many of us will start with New Years Resolutions for 2018. For quite a few of us, health will be one of the drivers for our 2018 resolution ideas.

The key is to figure out a sustainable option for a New Years Resolution. If you come up with something so difficult, it is likely you will fail after the first month after you get tired of working so hard.

I have learned over the years that realistic expectations are more likely to be achieved. I also find that starting small makes it more likely that you will succeed. Meaning if you want to lose 100 pounds, instead of insisting 100 pounds right off the bat, you might consider 25 pounds in 90 days and work to achieve that goal. Once you meet that first goal, you will be motivated to continue for the next 50 pounds and can go from there.

Sometimes making simple sustainable choices is the best option. This worked well for me when I changed my diet and starting incorporating medicinal Beyond Healthy Chocolate into my diet. Thankful that these healthy chocolates are actually good for me and average just 30 calories a piece.

“Change your chocolate, change your life. Beyond™ Healthy Chocolate® is a treasure-trove of vital nutrients and superior antioxidant protection to help you live a happier, healthier and more delicious life.”

Now is the time to order your Beyond Healthy Chocolate. A great idea is to eat a piece of healthy chocolate 30 minutes before each meal with a glass of water to curb cravings. I also eat a piece of Beyond Healthy Chocolate when I am hungry. It often curbs my cravings alone.

Diet, exercise and healthy choices in moderation really can make a difference.

What changes will you make in 2018? I know I will continue to focus on improving my health by exercising more. I love bike riding so am hoping incorporating something I love will keep me motivated to ride my bike daily. Having a back up plan like working out at the gym is a great option for rainy days or cold weather.
